Happy Fashion Friday! Red as used in the notebook.

The Notebook is one of my favorite movies of all times for so many reasons. yes, the plot is beautiful and makes me cry every single time i see it (which is a lot) but, the fashion. THE FASHION. This is what perfect styling looks like. I feel like every time a girl mentions the notebook it just gives off a big red, flashing sign that says “SINGLE” which in my case is true, but hey, speaking of red…

Allie wears a lot of red. red lips, red rompers, red dresses, red blankets. red. what a powerful color, especially how she always pairs her red clothes with red lips, what a statement. in watching this movie recently, that color has sparked a revolution in my closet. a redolution, if you will. this color is inspiring me so much right now. i love it for summer and just wanted to share with you where my inspiration is coming from right now.

xoxo, julie!
