Kbunny’s fitness secrets!
I have recently received a lot of questions regarding what my work out regiment is like. As a result I have decided to share some of my work out secrets with you!
MODERATION IS THE KEY. Everything in moderation including working out!
I used to work out 6-7 days a week. I would take long runs, hit the
gym daily, and attend fitness classes from yoga to Pilate’s to Bikram.
I still do all of those things, but now I only do it about 2-3 times a week!
Believe it or not I find that when I work out less, my appetite is
much easier to keep at bay. When I work out everyday I over compensate
with food and end up over eating because I am so hungry after major
daily work outs!
I find that it is much easier to maintain a healthy diet when I work out a little bit less. So rather than building and feeding muscle constantly, I just stay toned and healthy.
With this in mind, that is not to say I do not have problem areas. Part of it is also just knowing what angles work best for you in front of the camera and learning how to pose. Trust me, I definitely have a dent or two on my thighs, no doubt about it. No butt is that big with out a little cellulite. Lets get real.
I never stick with the same routine. I change it up every time I work out and as a result I am never bored and always learning something new!
Some days I will just take a run over the Brooklyn bridge and other days I will do exercises out of Tracy Anderson’s book ( Tracy has got it going on and her method is unique and reliable for fast results). Shape magazine is another great source to find fun new things to incorporate into your workout routine.
On days when I am not doing a full work out I simply roll out the yoga mat in the family room and do about 10-15 minutes of stretching. Always remember to stay limber and flexible of course!
My biggest work out secret? WEAR THREE SPORTS BRAS AT ONCE. Ever
since these things magically appeared (I swear, they grew over night.
I woke up one day and my body was like, “Surprise!”) I have worn 2-3
sports bras at once depending on how old the bra is and how well it
supported me. I don’t like the girls to move around what so ever when I am
working out so I keep them as strapped down as possible to prevent
sagging. Now this is just my theory, this has not been proven, so take
it for what its worth but if you ask me, it works!
