Hello & Happy Sunday Style!

Last weekend i attended my first ever bat mitzvah and i had a blast! i wore something i had never ever worn before, though it has been in my closet, and family, for years. it was my great, great aunt anna’s wedding dress from the 1920s. I wore the lace overlay, omitting the oversized beige slip that went with it back in the day. instead, i slipped it on top of a black tank dress and paired that with my embroidered, t-strap, jeffrey campbell foxy’s. i always wear clothes that are pretty well-fitted and always like to accentuate my waist (the smallest part of my curvy bod) but that night i decided to switch it up and go for something totally different. sometimes it’s really fun to step out of your comfort zone, both in fashion and in life and it’s something i’ve been trying to do a lot more of lately!

Malena, whose bat mitzvah it was, looked absolutely amazing in a dress i custom made for her big day. the dress was actually 2 in 1 and had a floor length satin skirt that went over the tulle for cocktail hour (not pictured) i’m pretty proud of the ombre-sparkle-tulle design..and everybody loved it. Katrina (whom i know Malena through) looked amazing in a BCBG bandage dress! Mazel Tov!
