Happy Tutorial Tuesday! How to Hair Wrap!

hello! i really wanted a big red hair wrap, so i gave myself one! here’s how!

section off a piece of hair, i chose the left underside of my hair, broke it into 3 strands and started braiding. braid to the end and end the braid with a small hair elastic. cut a piece of embroidery floss that is long. i would say about 4x the length of your braid is what you’re going to use (for one color)  

knot the thread at the base of your braid and start wrapping. it’s a little tiring..just keep wrapping. i wrapped two strands at once so that it would seem to go a little quicker. 

i added a bead (of red lips!) towards the base of my hair by knotting, sliding the bead on, knotting again around my braid and continuing to knot. i didn’t want it dangling at the end of my braid but you could do either. when you reach the end, double knot the end of your hair and add beads if you’d like. if not, just knot and trim the end, being careful not to cut your own hair in the process. happy hair wrapping!
