Happy Fashion Friday! Bridesmaids!

In august, my friend Caitlin got married! woo hoo! but that’s only the first part of excitement! i made all of the bridesmaids dresses as well as the mother of the bride dress! keeping track of pattern pieces that all look exactly the same was not easy and this project took insane amounts of organization but in the end they came out great.

The cute & comfy cotton party dresses had a standard sweetheart-princess cut top with two pleats in the princess seams of the circle skirt…and a little hidden gem- pockets hidden within the pleats! i also made cummerbunds to finish off each look, and of course, they tied in a bow. adorable. 

The mother of the bride dress was lovely. a crystal banded waist with an asymmetrical chiffon strap was the perfect combination of class and fun. what a gorgeous wedding with gorgeous photos and gorgeous ladies. i love them.
